Have you ever noticed when your words stop landing the way they used to? When what once felt clear and magnetic suddenly feels flat or forced?

In this week’s minisode, you’ll learn why your message sometimes needs to evolve before you do and how that evolution connects directly to your mission, purpose, and the legacy you’re here to build. I’ll share how this showed up for me recently during my move, and what it taught me about the power of inner communication, especially when it comes to operating from your present self instead of an old pattern that no longer fits.

You’ll walk away feeling reconnected to your truth, ready to realign your message, and reminded that true self-care for business starts with the conversation you have with yourself.

Sheila:

Have you ever had a moment when your words stop landing the way they used to? When the messaging that once drew clients into you suddenly feels flat or forced? This is a signal that you've grown. The language that once fit who you were no longer fits who you're becoming. And that is a beautiful thing because your words are your compass, guiding you toward your next level expansion. Hi, welcome to the podcast. I'm Sheila Botelho, and I believe true success is built from the inside out. This mini sewed is designed to help you live into what lights you up this week. Over the last few weeks, we have been exploring different expansion blockers, these patterns that quietly hold us back from our next level of growth. If you missed any, go back and listen. Last week's was all about expanding impact through empowered teams. This week, we're talking about messaging, the words that once worked for you and now don't. When your old words stop working, this is feedback for you. It's like the universe's way of telling you that you've outgrown a former version of yourself. Your message is asking you to evolve and to catch up with your own growth, which is really exciting when you think about it. That growth is directly connected to your mission and purpose clarity. Because as you evolve, so do your values. The deeper impact you want to be known for takes shape. The words that once came easily start to feel maybe too small, too polished, or too practiced. And it's time to re-anchor into what's real now for you, your evolved values, your lived experience, and your current truth. Let me share something that came up for me recently as we were getting close to the finish line of our move. One day I had a really full schedule, so many things that I wanted to get done, but truly, I was tired. I ended up taking a nap to recalibrate, but that only happened after I gave myself permission to take something off my calendar. I love to share stories like that as often as possible because we all need to give ourselves that permission. It was an interaction that I'd normally prioritize, something I'd do for someone else. But in that moment, I realized that it could wait. No one was telling me I had to do it right then. It was my old self-speaking, the version of me who felt the need to always show up for everyone else before myself. Now, when I let that go, I felt an instant spaciousness, both in my mind and in my day. It gave me 20 minutes to rest. And that reset changed everything. I accomplished what mattered most with a clear head and a light heart. That moment reminded me the first piece of communication we need to focus on isn't the words we share with others. It's the conversation we're having with ourselves. Are we operating in present time? Or are we reacting from a past version of ourselves, running an old program we haven't yet challenged or redefined? Because once that internal communication shifts, everything else follows. Our team conversations get cleaner, our client messaging becomes more aligned, and our personal relationships flow with greater ease. It all starts with you. That is true self-care for business. Getting clear on your message to yourself. When you honor your own evolution, your messaging naturally evolves too. The words you choose will start matching the version of you that's rising. And that is how your next level of impact begins. If this resonated, go back and listen to the other mini sodes in the expansion blocker series that are recent. You'll see the themes start to weave together from clarity and systems to leadership and now messaging. And stay tuned for the solo chat that's coming up this week where we go deeper into what it really takes to rewrite your message from a place of alignment and truth. If this is landing for you and you're ready to reconnect with the bigger picture behind your work, start with the vision map. It's the foundation that helps you see where you're headed next with clarity, intention, and ease. You can find the link in the show notes. Thanks so much for listening, and I'll catch you on the next episode.
