In today’s minisode, I share a powerful personal story from my early days in wellness and business that mirrors a pattern I still see today: how seasoned entrepreneurs can unknowingly stall their own evolution.

You'll learn how to spot the quiet ways you might be waiting for the "perfect moment" — and how to shift into forward motion without needing everything to feel comfortable first.

Speaker 1:

I've seen entrepreneurs seasoned, successful women talk about the big vision they're ready to step into, but behind the scenes, their actions tell a very different story. In today's Minnesota, I'm sharing how to recognize when you're unconsciously stalling and the simple audit that can unlock real momentum without the overwhelm. Imagine stepping into your next level of business and life even when it feels a little messy, without waiting for the perfect moment. Imagine stepping into your next level of business and life even when it feels a little messy, without waiting for the perfect moment, because if you're waiting to feel ready, you're quietly putting your dreams on hold and no one else will move them forward for you. Hi, welcome to the Connect with Sheila Botelho podcast. I'm committed to helping you reconnect to your purpose, elevate your well wellbeing and build your version of a happy, successful life. You're listening to a mini-sode where I share an insight designed to help you live into. What lights you up this week.

Speaker 1:

We often say we want growth and I have been here so many times but if we're honest, our actions sometimes tell a different story. I've seen it in the wellness space for years and I've seen it in business. People say they're ready to feel better, to live healthier, to move their bodies more and yet when it's time to take action, even small, simple steps, they stall. Not because they don't care, not because they don't really want to, but because somewhere deep down they're still holding onto a belief that this will be hard, this will take forever, I'm not ready yet. And that belief quietly rules their choices, like a beautiful home that gets cleaned before the cleaner arrives. They think they need to fix themselves before they're allowed to start. That was me as a kid. My dad got me a cleaning job at his friend's home and the friend's wife would clean the house before I got there, and I always wondered why that was. And what was interesting is it did give me this message that everybody needs to show up perfectly before they can start. Interesting how that stuck with me. So I see this showing up in business too People who are waiting to launch until there's this perfect case study, waiting to show up until they look a certain way or have a certain credential.

Speaker 1:

But here's the truth the future version of you is built by the action, not by perfect preparation. Growth isn't supposed to feel comfortable at first. It's supposed to feel like trying on gorgeous new shoes. Try and keep this in your mind. They look amazing, but remember it takes a few wears before they start feeling like home on your feet. So here is your gold nugget for today you don't have to feel completely ready to start moving toward your next vision. You just have to be willing to show up with what you have today.

Speaker 1:

So my invitation for you this week is do a little self audit and ask yourself where are you, unknowingly waiting for a perfect moment that's never coming, and what's one small step you can take now, even if it feels new and a little uncomfortable? Your next level self is built one step at a time. Give yourself permission to begin. If I had a dollar for every time I have been in this place myself over the years, there'd be a lot of dollars just from that. So I'm here with you and I'm cheering you on, and if you haven't yet, check out the new podcast trailer that I just put up, and if you're loving these conversations, it would mean the world if you would leave a quick review on Apple Podcasts. I'd love to hear what's landing with you. Have a beautiful rest of your week and I will see you on another episode. Big blessings.
