You've done everything right. You've grown, scaled, hit milestones, but why does it still feel as hard as it always has? What if the real edge in business wasn't about doing more, but about shifting how you show up? In the next few minutes, I'm sharing three powerful truths about success, growth and magnetism that high-level entrepreneurs must understand. These shifts change everything for one of my clients, and they can. That high-level entrepreneurs must understand. These shifts change everything for one of my clients, and they can do the same for you. If you're tired of overcomplicating success, this one's for you.
Sheila:Hi, welcome to the Connect with Sheila Botelho podcast. I'm committed to helping you reconnect to your purpose, elevate your wellbeing and build your version of a happy, successful life. You're listening to a mini-sode where I share an insight designed to help you live into what lights you up. This week, every high achieving entrepreneur I work with reaches a point where their old strategies stop working. They hit a wall, not because they lack talent or drive, but because they're scaling without the right foundation. In the next few minutes, I'm going to share three truths about success, growth and magnetism that could completely shift how you approach your business and make it feel easier and more aligned than ever before. These aren't just concepts. I'll tell you about a client who applied them in her business and saw immediate, tangible shifts, not from working harder, but from doing something most people overlook. Imagine waking up with clarity and confidence, knowing that your business is growing, not because you're burning out, but because you're finally working with your energy instead of against it. Or you could keep pushing the way you have, wondering why more effort isn't leading to better results and feeling like you're constantly one step behind your own success.
Sheila:Let's get into it. So I had a client. Let's call her Patrice. She had built a wildly successful consulting business. Clients were rolling in, her reputation was solid and on paper she had made it.
Sheila:But here's what wasn't working. She was exhausted, no matter how much money she made. She was feeling like she was treading water. Her morning started with stress, her creativity felt drained and, despite all her success, she wasn't enjoying any of it. She told herself it's just a busy season, I just need to push through. But that season had lasted years. One day she finally admitted I can't scale like this. Something has to change. And so she noticed and as we discussed this, without self-care, you're sprinting toward burnout, not success. Your best ideas, your biggest opportunities and the most magnetic energy don't come when you're depleted. They come when you're resourced. So self-care isn't a break from success, it is a requirement for it.
Sheila:When Patrice prioritized herself first, even before business, her clarity sharpened, her decision-making improved and, ironically, she started making more money while working less. How does this work, you might be asking. There is a strategy to it, but first we're going to talk about what is underneath the strategy, and that is that your business grows at the speed of your self-trust, and when you're tapped into that, everything shifts. But for you to tap into it, you need to get quiet, create space and actually not be stressed out. So here's the second shift that Patrice made she stopped outsourcing her confidence. She used to spend weeks overanalyzing decisions, waiting for a sign, waiting for reassurance, waiting for someone else to validate that she was making the right move, and every time she hesitated she lost momentum, opportunities passed her by. She stayed in cycles of overthinking instead of action. So we made one shift. Before she made any business decision, I asked her what would future you the version of you who already has the results do right now? When you don't trust yourself, you second guess, overcomplicate and delay action. But the more you trust yourself, the faster your results come. So, instead of waiting for external validation, practice moving as your future self, the version of you who has already figured it out she's already inside of you. You just have to start acting like it.
Sheila:The third truth I want to share is being magnetic isn't about doing more. It's about being more of you. So this last shift that Patrice made was probably the most surprising one. She had spent years following all the best practices in her industry, polishing her messaging, mimicking what was working for others, showing up in a way that she thought that she should, but it felt forced and honestly thought that she should, but it felt forced and honestly exhausting. So we stripped it back. She started trusting her natural way of communicating, speaking about what she truly cared about and not just about what she thought people wanted to hear. And the moment that she did that, that's when she noticed some real changes start to happen. You see, people aren't drawn to perfection. They're drawn to confidence, energy and authenticity. So, instead of asking how can I do more, ask how can I be more of myself. That's the key to more effortless magnetism. So here's what I invite you to do Pick one of these three truths and actually apply it today.
Sheila:Will you finally prioritize self-care as a business strategy? Will you start acting like your future self instead of waiting for permission, or will you stop trying to fit in a mold and trust that you are your best asset? I would love to hear, send me a DM or comment on my latest post and tell me which one hit home the most for you, because how you apply this will determine how fast you grow, and these are things that we work on together in the Seasons Growth Accelerator. There's details about how you can learn about that and get involved in the show notes. There's actually also a section there. You can text me inside the show notes. I look forward to hearing how this goes for you so you can move into your next beautiful phase of growth and joy that you get to experience at the same time. Thanks so much for listening. We'll see you on another episode. Have a beautiful rest of your day, big blessings.
